This large industrial manufacturing facility was adding a High-Tech down draft paint booth assembly to their manufacturing process. PSI’s responsibility was to install the foundation, pit and metal framework per the paint booths supplier’s engineering drawings. The existing floor was removed along with previous equipment foundations and pads. The paint booth’s area had to be excavated approximately 6 feet down to erect the metal forms for the foundation and pit assembly. The process was done in several steps. PSI constructed the pit footings and floor, pit walls, fabricate and installed the metal frame assembly and finish the adjacent concrete floor up to the new paint boot metal frame assembly. As you can see, precautions where put in place to maintain dust to an acceptable level.
